ПЪРВИ СЕЗОН

В първи сезон се проследяват нишките на обърканите животи на група 17 годишни тийнейджъри в най-богаташкия квартал на Манхатън - Горен Ийстсайд. През този сезон зрителите стават свидетели на много интриги, около които винаги стоят Серина ван дер Уудсен, Блеър Уолдорф, Натаниъл Арчибалд, Чък Бас, Дан Хъмфри и сестра му Джени. Сезонът започва със загадката около завръщането на Серина ван дер Уудсен в Манхатън след шестмесечното й отсъствие. В последствие се разплита загадката около изчезването на Серина с шокиращ финал на сезона.

ВТОРИ СЕЗОН

Във втори сезон сюжетът се задълбочава, представят се нови герои, а второстепенни типажи от първи сезон заемат основни роли. Акцент в този сезон пада върху смъртта на Барт Бас и това как тя се отразява на сина му Чък и останалите герои. Романтиката във отношенията на Чък и Блеър се засилва, докато Дан и Серина претърпяват неколкократни раздели. В средата на сезона Джени Хъмфри също се превръща в много интересна героиня, като се превръща в пълен антипод на образа й в първи сезон. Шокиращото разкритие на сезона е, че бащата на Дан и майката на Серина в миналото са имали дете, което се появява в края на сезона.

ТРЕТИ СЕЗОН

Новият сезон проследява пътя на героите след като вече са завършили гимназия. Някои от тях продължават в колежа, а други не. Серина не отива в колеж, за да търси изгубения си баща, Блеър е потисната от атмосферата в колежа, Дан и Ванеса преоткриват взаимоотношенията си, а Джени се превръща в още по-тъмен образ. Чък и Блеър най-после са постигнали хармония във връзката си, но нещата не остават така за дълго. В сезона взимат участие също Хилари Дъф, Лейди Гага, Кевин Зигърс и др.
